Artwork Preparation Guidelines

 

For precise and professional outlook of your order, Please follow the following guidelines:

Common terminologies:  

Perforation:

A small hole or row of small holes punched in a sheet of paper, e.g. of postage stamps, so that a part can be torn off easily.

Cut:

Cut is the line that divides the main body of the box.   

Crease:

A line or ridge produced on paper for the purpose of folding or scoring.

Bleed:

The line that specifies where the artwork minimum distance required to ensure good cutting quality.

Die-cut Boxes:

Die cut boxes are highly customizable corrugated cardboard boxes designed to fit any shape, size, or need. They are known as die cut boxes because they are cut from plain sheets of corrugated material on a machine known as a die press (or die cutter).

When Sending Custom artwork of your choice, please make sure the following:

Keep text at 7pt or higher.

Minimum text acceptable.

Text must be of 7pt or higher.

What should be the bleed minimum size?

We recommend Bleed Size of 6mm.

Minimum lines thickness.

Lines at all times must be 0.5pt wide or more

Jet Black recipe:

Our recommended ratio for jet black is:  CMYK 60% 60% 60% 100%

Minimum graphics density required.

Graphics used must always be 300 density per inch or higher.

Safe margins distance?

Make sure to keep a safe distance of 0.8mm from the edges.

Eco & Eco White Boxes

It’s either Black or transparent. Use Black K 100% or 0%. All shades of grey won’t print properly.

What does CYMK mean?

CMYK printing is the standard in the printing industry. CMYK refers to the four inks used in some color printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key. CMY covers most light color ranges while K gives it the ability to create darker deep colors. It is also called a full color job.

Accepted File Formats

Both Adobe Illustrator AI Press Quality and High Quality Print PDF file formats are acceptable.

 CAD sample:

Computer-aided design (CAD) is a computer technology that designs a product and documents the design's process. It is used to ensure that the dimension and outlook of your product is correct before the manufacturing process begins and presents you a detailed version of how your box may look like after printing.   

Mockup (Full color sample)

A mock up sample is a fully customized practical sample of your box, including all your mentioned requirements. So that before you finalize the order, you can make sure what changes need to be made in terms of shape, size, color, coatings .etc. If you are ordering boxes in large quantities, we recommend requesting a mock up article for your satisfaction and comfort.
